To utilize the OnePacs Reporting tool on macOS to enable dictation using third party tools such as Fluency DirectTM* (FD), first update to the latest version of OnePacs Desktop for macOS.
Ensure that the dictation tool (FD) is running by launching the application in macOS. Next, select "OnePacs VR helper app (macOS)" as the Voice Recognition engine for reporting in user preferences. This option will display in this menu only if OnePacs detects that the necessary resources are present on the macOS computer:
If this option does not show in your VR engine menu, it may be necessary to enable third-party macOS dictation integration for your account; please contact your group administrator for assistance.
Next, to establish a connection between OnePacs reporting and the Fluency Direct FD application, open the dictation box/OnePacs Reporting window from the OnePacs Study Retriever menu:
